Br'er Rabbit

From Canadian Egg Artist Peggy J. Vincent comes this Easter reminder of Uncle Remus.   This hand carved emu egg features a very alert Br'er Rabbit, who is hiding in the brier patch in case Br'er Fox (or any children) comes along.

The artist utilized all three layers of the emu eggshell color in carving this original animal portrait.  The egg is mounted on driftwood and surrounded by blackberry briars.

This unusual work of art  would make a wonderful addition to a collection or a charming accent piece for the home.

Available from Peggasus for $68.00.  Contact the artist for more information or ordering instructions.
