This hand carved emu egg features a very alert Br'er Rabbit, who is hiding in the brier patch in case Br'er Fox (or any children) comes along. The artist utilized all three layers of the emu eggshell color in carving this original animal portrait. The egg is mounted on driftwood and surrounded by blackberry briars.
