Leona Wollam
"I first became interested when a friend
talked me
into a egg class. One egg and I was hooked."
A member of the Egg Artists of Oregon, Leona
Wollam has been egging for 3 ˝ years. Leona has
earned her masters in both Filigree and Hand
Painted.
She is currently working on her masters in
Beaded & Jeweled, Decoupage, and Hand Carved
through the International Masters Program. She has
two previous second place wins in two other shows
she has participated in. She tells us that lately,
she
has been carving emu eggs quite a bit. Leona loves
butterflies and tells us that her winning egg took
a
couple of days to complete.
"As you can see from the pictures,
Leona does beautiful work not only with emu eggs,
but with ostrich as well."
